Imagine what you can do here. Apple is a place where extraordinary people gather to do their lives best work. Together we create products and experiences people once couldn’t have imagined, and now, can’t imagine living without. It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do.
Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design, integrate, and characterize wireless System-on-a-Chip (SOC). Design, integrate, and characterize wireless System-on-a-Chip (SOC). Design and verify the wireless algorithm along with Algorithm designers using both emulation and real silicon environment during the pre and post-silicon chip cycle, respectively. Characterize the algorithm by analyzing the signal quality in the spectrum analyzer and RF test instrument. Python-based framework to implement End-to-End performance verification for the wireless chipset. Implement system models for wireless communication systems and impairments in Matlab and C (Implement Matlab modeling and C-Model register-based simulation environment for wireless algorithms and RF impairments to design, simulate, and implement state-of-the-art physical layer wireless communication algorithms. Design wireless calibration algorithms like Transmit Power Control, IQ Correction, Non-Linearity mitigation, and DC Offset are simulated in Matlab and Register-based Python infrastructure to understand the impairment effect and suggest mitigation strategies. Design algorithms for wireless system impairment mitigation. Analyze the signal quality using a spectrum analyzer or RF test instrument to understand the RF impairments like IQ imbalance, gain, and phase mismatch. Mitigate the abnormalities by tuning the RF parameters for high signal quality and performance. Bring up and validate algorithms on emulation and real silicon like Beamforming, Noise cancellation, and OFDMA in both pre-and post-silicon in emulation and real silicon platform to ensure bug-free design. The analysis uses Matlab and RF test instruments to simulate and visualize the signal abnormalities. Designed and implemented Python to bring up, integrate, and debug the environment. Post-silicon chips were brought up using a Python-based environment to verify register level functionality of the wireless chipset and its algorithms and features. Develop a framework to Integrate Software Firmware Hardware and debug both hardware and software bugs pre and post-silicon. Develop test plans and collect and analyze test results. Develop a software framework to verify the wireless algorithm and features, design a test plan to satisfy IEEE standards, and explore the test results in sophisticated automated visualization methods like Tableau. Identify and debug issues, which include Pre-silicon and post-silicon bringup and integration efforts to identify bugs and algorithm issues and troubleshoot the root cause of the issue along with Algorithm designers and suggest solutions. Design and implement test scripts that involve automation framework testing infrastructure designed to verify, validate, and integrate the wireless system-level algorithms and features.40 hours/week.
