The US Education Sales team is responsible for the care, development, and growth of Apple’s existing K-12 and Higher Education accounts, as well as driving increased market share through the acquisition of new customers. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and successfully delivering programs to evolve the US Education business. You will leverage your love of process improvement and strong attention to detail to independently lead complex projects from ideation to completion. You will partner cross-functionally at all levels to align on key priorities, build robust plans, and guide working teams to deliver innovative solutions. Through your strong collaboration skills and forward thinking influence, you will improve the effectiveness of programs, resulting in world-class experiences and expanded adoption of the Apple ecosystem.
Description
In this role, you will:
- Participate in early planning and development of program roadmaps and special projects to facilitate key initiatives across US Education
- Manage end-to-end project delivery from inception to completion
- Drive a regular cadence of project meetings; track notes, identify follow-ups, and clearly communicate deliverables to keep work moving forward
- Clearly and accurately articulate risks and escalate as appropriate
- Work to resolve gaps before they become issues
- Rolling up your sleeves to get things done as needed
- Create and deliver effective project updates and presentations to leadership
- Lead post-mortem discussions and ROI analysis
- Determine innovate ways to improve on existing processes and programs
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
Background in project management, program management, or similar function managing and leading projects, developing project plans, and delivering regular updates
Experience working in Numbers, Pages, Keynote, Excel, Slack, and Wrike
Outstanding communication skills, including ability to distill complex information to be easily digestible for a variety of audiences
Strong collaboration and relationship building skills with the ability to quickly establish trust, credibility, and influence across a variety of cross-functional and multi-directional partners
Able to work autonomously on assignments and handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion
Comfort working in ambiguous or evolving environments
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Background in technology sales and/or field marketing is a plus
Experience working in Salesforce is a plus
Project Management certification is a plus
Familiarity with the Education market is desirable
Passion for continuous improvement with the curiosity to uncover gaps, resilience to manage ambiguity, and drive to optimize processes and create solutions
Forward-thinking approach and tenacity to anticipate risks prior to escalation and proactively drive towards a solution
Expert organizational skills and attention to detail
