Description
APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Use test methods to validate Bluetooth headsets and associated underlying technologies. Verify key features of one or more products and/or software updates. Create and run tests to ensure optimal customer experience with Apple products. Create test plans and be involved in the implementation of testing strategies and methodologies. Identify, reproduce, and isolate bugs in automated, structured and open styles of testing. Implement and test new features, regress critical areas and drive resolution of issues. Use problem solving skills to break down technically deep features and how to test them. Leverage operational analysis to guide amount and detail of tests to be run as well as feasibility against program schedule. Focus on decision making to help make recommendations on what issues to get resolved; and Leverage computer skills to aid in presentation creation, issue analysis and device interface. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $163,300.00 - $245,800.00/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Testing, planning, executing, and designing test strategies and coverage plans for new features able to interface with software products
Performing Computer Programming for test script creation, modification, and review of automation scripts
Interfacing with development teams for issue root cause analysis
Performing test case development for new firmware features or hardware products
Developing test schedules for SW & FW testing and driving defect prioritization to align to program milestones and requirements
Collaborating with cross-functional partners to integrate test schedules and convergence plans to align to program deliverable schedules and convergence timelines
Reporting on software testing, test schedules, and feature convergences to leadership
Log analysis, including identifying log lines within defect reports to assist with the triage, debugging and root cause analysis of failures observed through test execution and reporting
