Summary

At Apple great ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences. We are seeking an enthusiastic Design Producer to support the Media & Infrastructure Tools Product Design team to create additional tools and products for app management. The Media & Infrastructure Tools Design Team develops products to support Editorial and ENG teams across Apple. Editorial tools allow Apple employees to plan, curate, create and publish content for Apple Media customers. Infrastructure Tools allow Apple’s ENG team to efficiently manage their work. This team works to improve and expand the tool and product offerings on multiple platforms.

This person will collaborate with the Design Manager and other Producers to provide overall team and project leadership. They will work closely with the design team and cross-functional partners to define project requirements, clarify design goals, organize design reviews, and ensure a quality release of the final products and features.

This is a fast-paced team focused on complex design challenges. This position works closely with many other teams and will be an advocate for user experience. Responsibilities include managing cross-functional relationships and partnerships while representing the design team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years as a producer in software design (in-house or digital creative agency experience preferred)

  • Experience in software development and product lifecycles

  • Experience leading and driving consumer-facing design initiatives

  • Understanding of UX/UI ideation, execution, and delivery processes

  • Ability to meet deadlines and drive results while juggling many projects and priorities

  • Ability to grasp complexity quickly, focus on key issues, while adapting to constant change

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of desktop and native mobile design best practices

  • A passion for Apple, its products, and its customers

  • Proficient in Keynote

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $171,600 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
