Description
As an Engineering Leader, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, leading a passionate team while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to drive the technical execution of our shared mission. We’re looking to bring a product-minded hands-on engineering leader who will lead a fast-paced and high-growth team. As a line manager, your responsibilities will include research and development for enabling new user behavior, working closely with multi-functional teams to optimally coordinate the sophisticated interdependencies inherent to our ecosystem. Ensuring quality in every deliverable, creative thinking, strong problem solving, and the ability to collaborate with other multi- functional teams in a dynamic setting are meaningful attributes which will serve you well in this role.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical management role
Strong technical foundation and hands-on experience
Validated programming experience is required, 5+ years
Strong Java expertise - including but not limited to: Core Java, Multithreading, non-blocking IO
Ability to recruit, grow, and retain top talent
Strategic thinking with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a multi-functional team on high-profile, critical projects
Preferred Qualifications
Leveraging AI tools for increased productivity
Knowledge of web technologies is desirable but not required.
Familiarity with developing machine learning systems, ML frameworks, libraries and algorithms is desirable but not required.
Familiarity with GitHub, build and deployment tools like Maven, Docker, Spinnaker, Kubernetes
