Summary

As a member of Cellular Systems Engineering team working on power, you will have the unique opportunity to work on most interesting and challenging problems related to power architecture and optimization. In our team, we have the mission to design and deliver the most power efficient solution for the cellular products.

Description

In this role you will be working cross-functionally across many disciplines to drive the optimal power architecture. This starts with defining the product power goals at early stages of the project concept, putting together the system specifications, working through bring-up, and all the way to commercialization. You will work on defining system level requirements, propose innovative ideas, define power architecture, put together the pre-Si power model, and study post-Si power measurements. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the power optimization efforts on the industry leading cellular solution.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Familiarity with 3GPP LTE and NR specifications.

  • Knowledge of cellular modem architecture.

  • Knowledge of power architecture concepts including process node corners, clock/power gating, and clock/voltage control.

  • BS and 10+ years of relevant experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of cellular modem power saving features defined in the 3GPP standards.

  • Experience in power model and energy model.

  • Experience in post-Si power measurement and power breakdown analysis.
