Director Risk Management

  • This exciting and critical position will be responsible for evaluating victim and first party fraud risk by designing key fraud risk servicing strategies to improve customer experience and reduce enterprise risk exposure from first party fraud. The role works very closely with Fraud Risk colleagues within fraud risk and decision science team. This role will also interact with enterprise partners including Global Servicing, EDMX, Enterprise Digital, Technology. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing victim fraud scam and first party fraud claims management strategies.

  • Analyze structured and unstructured data and translate data using statistical, financial machine learning, or business intelligence techniques to identify scam and suspect claim patterns.

  • Develop controls to mitigate scam risk at PoS with continued focus on emerging scam modus operandi.

  • Partner across internal FRM and stakeholder teams to provide requirements for leveraging scam GenAI model and its benefit / impact analysis.

  • Assess process inherent risk and implement mitigating controls under the fraud RAU.

  • Partner with decision science team in development of suspect scam model to support structured data input into GenAI model.

  • Defining business requirements for platforms involved in fraud risk prevention strategies.

  • Conduct data and process analysis to validate that suspect claim strategy is fully optimized.

  • Implement aligned policy changes, including governance approval, change management and effective control design. Required Qualifications:

  • 5 Years experience in product management, strategy, or new product implementation.

  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate Victim fraud risk scenarios effectively

  • Ability to navigate through ambiguous problems and be creative

  • Ability to leverage industry trends and insights in designing new products, customer features & fraud capabilities

  • Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Positive “roll-up your sleeves” attitude, a proactive mindset Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Economics, Sciences, Mathematics, or Engineering related fields preferred

  • Experience in LLM model development and/or working with GenAI models

Qualifications

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
