The Pairing Frameworks team is looking for an energetic and creative software engineer to build solutions that unlock the power of the watch by building infrastructure to support its unique relationship to other devices.

Description

As part of the Pairing Frameworks team, you will be foundational to the Apple Watch platform, working closely with Apple Watch software teams across the organization by building system frameworks. You will collaborate with the networking team and other cross functional partners to develop and improve the pairing and communication technologies, working with design and QA partners to help define the user facing goals of those technologies. You will play a core role in innovating and improving setup and pairing, giving new Apple Watch users their first experience on the platform.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS CE/CS or equivalent experience required

  • Proficient in Objective-C and Swift

  • Experience building high traffic system frameworks and related infrastructure

  • You have experience optimizing applications and profiling throughout the stack

  • Systems knowledge, hands-on experience with inter-process communication

  • You are upbeat, adaptable, and results oriented with a positive attitude

  • Fantastic attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience improving and expanding on existing complex projects and systems

  • You have defined and driven large scale projects across different levels of the stack
