Summary

Imagine what you could do at Apple. New ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Intelligent people, inspiring vision, innovative technologies are the norm. We have reinvented entire industries with our products, and apply the same energy to ensure we leave the world better than we found it.

Apple is looking for engineering professionals with strong technical, communication, and leadership skills to ensure that we drive our Battery new product introductions (NPI) to meet the demanding technical, quality, and schedule requirements for Apple products!

Apple's Battery organization architects, designs, builds, and tests battery modules across all Apple product lines, which require sophisticated and dynamic electrical, firmware, mechanical, and chemical designs. Over the past several years, we have delivered battery innovations in form factor, battery safety and security, gauging and charging schemes, and energy density.

Description

As an Engineering Program Manager within Apple's Product Design organization, you will play a pivotal role in bringing Apple's next-generation batteries to life. You will drive clarity from ambiguity, align cross-functional engineering teams, and ensure we deliver innovative products with exceptional quality and speed. You will own the development process from Architecture to Mass Production for our Battery Design, Integration, and Operational teams—enabling breakthrough designs and driving the decisions that move the product forward. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and love solving hard engineering challenges, join us in shaping the future of Apple hardware.

  • Demonstrated adeptness in independently owning deliverables in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment; engaged and eager to learn

  • Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity. Highly adept in multi-tasking of both short-term and long-term activities

  • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills with ability to influence and build consensus across teams; able to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience

  • Experience with AI tools, modeling, and simulation work
