Together with your team, you’ll provide the critical support needed worldwide for all Apple products and businesses.

Description

Provide legal advice and general trade support to Import, Export and Sanctions Compliance teams at Apple on cross-border trade initiatives/transactions, including guidance on customs, tariffs, valuation, classifications, country of origin, export controls, sanctions and other evolving global trade related restrictions and regulations, and forced labor laws
Support development and maintenance of compliance materials, like policies, procedures, website, and training
Deep knowledge of Customs laws, trade remedies, Free Trade Agreements, EAR, ITAR, U.S. Foreign Trade Relations, EAR, OFAC, administrative-law procedures of relevant government agencies.
General support for compliance initiatives as it pertains to Trade
Provide strategic support to legal teams and Apple senior leadership
Manage outside counsel relationships as they pertain to trade and trade issues

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10 years experience in a law firm or in house working on trade and export issues

  • JD and admission to at least one US state bar.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to make decisions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,700 and $299,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
