The AIML Evaluations org works with teams across Apple to build platforms, create methodologies, and enable partners to measure, understand, and proactively improve their products. We are looking for a seasoned leader to drive all privacy and compliance across AIML, partnering with Privacy Engineering, Privacy Legal, Competition Legal, GA, and various regulatory groups. We're looking for an individual with deep knowledge of privacy, AI, and regulatory landscapes to drive cross-functional projects and engage with regulators, in partnership with other groups at Apple.
Description
As a member of the team, you’ll be able to influence the direction of a wide variety of software features, models, and platforms, collaborating across the company. Your experience will enable you to thoughtfully balance the various tradeoffs involved in creating a successful feature that meets Apple’s high customer expectations for both quality and privacy.
This role requires navigating complex design and architectural constraints. It will also include facilitating sensitive conversations with multiple stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience working in privacy, government affairs, and/or AI
15+ years of experience working with and understanding of software architecture, API design, and system design.
Experience leading large cross-functional software projects.
Experience with software regulation compliance.
Familiarity with Privacy, competition, and AI regulations such as CCPA, GDPR, DMA, EU AI Act, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong written and presentation skills, able to communicate effectively with engineers and senior leaders, including Senior Vice Presidents
Proven ability to ramp up quickly on new technologies.
Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple simultaneous work tracks.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $305,000 and $487,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
