As a member of our Product Marketing group, you’ll represent the customer throughout a product’s journey from concept through development and launch. You’ll develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our product-development process. Together with our team, you’ll work to craft groundbreaking ideas into tangible products that excite the world. At Apple, we combine product management/development and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross functional Product Management role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales and support for maximum impact across the organization.

The Education Marketing Manager will own and drive the product centric marketing strategy for their respective product line of business. A critical function of this role is to be the spokesperson for their product in market.

The Education Marketing Manager is part of a team of product experts who champion products within their respective markets and seek innovative ways to keep our products at the heart of the customer conversation.

Description

Own the go to market strategy for Apple’s institution purchasers including governments, schools, IT purchasers, reseller channels and ecosystem partners.

Lead Apple’s curriculum and teacher engagement programs for Latin America.

Engage with students directly to promote adoption through programs such as Swift Student Challenge.

Partner with local and Worldwide Education Marketing teams to be the voice of educators and students to influence programs development.

Collaborate with internal teams, Product Marketing, PR, Marcom, and WW Education Marketing to share Apple’s story in Education.

Influence, localize and originate marketing assets required to support local markets.

Serve as the connection point between the education market and Apple - to clarify the needs of the market but also help tell Apple’s story and point of view back to the market.

Actively engage with key partners (Teachers, Principals, Leaders) to creatively develop the Education market in Latin America.

Closely follow emerging trends in education to understand how Apple products are best for Education.

Contribute positively to an inclusive culture in Product Marketing and the broader marketing organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Marketing and program management experience in education or related industries

  • Excellent communication and project management skills with a high attention to detail and a proven track record of high performance

  • Ability to travel in GEO up to 30%

  • Ability to surprise and delight our customers’ experiences through innovative, thoughtful details

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience preferred
