Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Design and develop a scalable back-end system that will handle payments and payouts and deliver key business data to cross-functional stakeholders. Build and maintain interfaces with
Apple Payment Gateway, Apple Payment Systems, Alipay, Finance Reporting to SAP, Tax reporting to GBI systems, including invoices; tax calculation and adjustment; accounting reports’
generation, PDF export and distribution; cards’ registration, verify and unbind; payments’ authorize, capture, adjustment, batch process and chargeback; transactions’ history retrieval,
export and aggregation, used by both internal systems and tens of thousands of developers and advertisers worldwide. Build high-performing, elegant systems from the ground up. Use
programming languages and frameworks, including Java, Junit, Dropwizard, and Spring. Work with RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between system components. Use Oracle and
Postgres databases, and SQL for relational databases. Responsible for event-driven architecture using Quartz, Kafka, and Avro. Responsible for containerization using Docker. Leverage
Cloud Services, including AWS S3, for Cloud-based storage. Integrate security protocols within software systems. Utilize Airflow for workflow orchestration. Integrate complex business
systems across various tools, databases, and cross-functional systems. Responsible for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and Automation, using Rio to streamline
deployment processes. Use DataDog for monitoring system health and performance, Splunk for log analysis and troubleshooting, and Tableau for analysis data visualization. Use Agile
methodologies, prioritize backlog times, conduct reviews and demos, and practice test-driven development. Develop and implement testing, training, and documentation. Hands-on
programming, along with other members of the team. Develop platforms that are highly performant, deployed at scale, enabling effective advertising while protecting user privacy. Domestic
travel required 10%. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience and/or education must include:

  • Designing and developing scalable back-end systems to handle payments and payouts.

  • Using Spring, Springboot, or Dropwizard to program in Java and related technology stack.

  • Using Java and Apache HTTP libraries to integrate with sensitive and secure services over HTTP.

  • Using Kafka asynchronous technologies to integrate with systems.

  • Experience with on-prem hosts or AWS to deploy and maintain services.

  • Using AWS, Java, Kafka, or Oracle to build high-performing systems from the ground up.

  • Using AWS, Java, Kafka, or Oracle to develop platforms that are highly performant, deployed at scale, enabling effective advertising while protecting user privacy.
