Description
As a writer on the Health Software team, you’ll need to be passionate about creating content that meets a high standard: Inclusive, easy-to-read, concise, actionable, and clinically accurate. You’ll work with engineers to understand the underlying data model and implementation details in order to create content that can be easily adapted for different audiences or purposes. This role contributes to broader discussions about voice and tone across Apple.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 10 years of experience as a health writer, within a technology environment
Familiarity with medical coding standards, such as SNOMED-CT, ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, and RxNorm
Background structuring content libraries and curating knowledge bases.
Experience researching and summarizing clinical literature
Expertise in complex, system-level content creation
Preferred Qualifications
A broad knowledge of Apple domains, platforms, and approaches
Familiarity with content management systems and LLM tools that enhance efficiency
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,200 and $220,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
