Description
You will join a team of attorneys in the Product & Regulatory Legal Group who advise engineering and operations teams on a wide variety of matters, including technology development, intellectual property licenses, strategic partnerships, and supplier relationships. You will collaborate with other legal groups and cross-functional business teams to strategize, draft, and negotiate technology licenses, development agreements, supply and manufacturing agreements, and other commercial contracts—with a focus on nascent technologies and innovative solutions. You will also advise Apple management on risk allocation and mitigation, business strategies, and policies, particularly as they relate to the unique challenges and opportunities presented by emerging technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience drafting and negotiating technology and commercial agreements
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one state bar
Preferred Qualifications
Experience drafting and negotiating intellectual property, manufacturing, and supply agreements
Experience with product counseling, consumer law, and product regulatory issues
Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with executive management, teammates, and cross-functional partners
Strong analytical skills and business sense with the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
Self-starter who is curious and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
