How will you make an impact in this role?
This role sits within the newly formed Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) Data Office and is accountable for leading data governance and data management execution in support of the Enterprise Data Management Operating Policy.
As a Data Governance & Management Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning data governance, data quality, and data risk. The role requires strong program and project management expertise to plan, prioritize, and deliver multiple concurrent efforts across diverse stakeholders, platforms, and business units.
In this capacity, you will define and implement components of the data governance strategy, coordinate and influence partners to supervise data quality activities, resolve data and platform issues, and drive consistency, usability, and effective governance of product data across the enterprise.
Primary Responsibilities:
Facilitate the intake, accurate classification, escalation, and tracking of data concerns within enterprise systems.
Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver initiatives on time while coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
Proven adaptability to shifting priorities, effectively managing changing requirements and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Perform holistic platform data quality monitoring, including oversight of key data quality reports and metrics.
Develop and maintain centralized dashboards and reporting for senior leadership, providing insights into data risks and concerns across data management activities.
Support training and communications efforts related to new or updated data policies and standards.
Collaborate closely with business units, Risk, Compliance, and Audit partners to support reviews, examinations, and other oversight activities.
Partner with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document the root cause and business impact of KRIs and KPIs.
Develop advanced knowledge of the Enterprise Data Management Operating Policy to support the Data Officein the execution of its role and translate AEMP into governance practices specific to ETS.
Drivethe assessment & identification of data risk, working with upstream data providers, downstream business partners, as well as technology teams.
Collaborate with and influence product managers to ensure all new use cases are managed according to policy.
Holistic platform data quality monitoring, including but not limited to key reports.
Partner with Data Governance & Management leadership in developing and managing the data management roadmap.
Qualifications:
3 years of experience in data governance, data management, incident management, risk management, data reporting analysis or a related function, preferably within the financial services industry
Strong communication skills and ability to influence and engage at multiple levels and cross functionally.
Strong understanding of Data Management and Data Governance concepts (metadata, lineage, data quality, business glossary, data risk and incident management, etc.) and prior experience.
Prior experience with system or data analysis
Prior experience with risk management, including control assessment and creation preferred
Prior experience of data governance, metadata, and data lineage tools such as Collibra, MANTA, etc.
Intermediate competency in SQL & Python or other programming language (optional).
Prior experience in Technology risk, IT governance or Technology Data Management preferred.
Prior experience with Agile or SAFe project methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or other similar fields.

Salary Range: $123,000.00 to $215,250.00 annually bonus benefits
