How will you make an impact in this role?
As a member of the ICS Analytics and Strategic Insights COE team, you will lead business analysis for international lending. In partnership with marketers and product managers, you will define and execute an agenda to leverage data and analytics to drive lending growth in international markets, primarily through data-driven strategic insights, cost/benefit analysis, new market opportunity research, and development of production-quality dashboards for products and strategies including installment lending, lending enablement expansion, term loans, credit limit management, and engagement of new and existing customers.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience performing sophisticated financial analysis of credit card portfolios
At least 3 years of experience in the development of automated reporting capabilities
At least 5 years of experience deploying solutions on various Amex tech platforms
At least 5 years of experience utilizing utilize financial and behavioral data to develop actionable insights
At least 5 years of experience and a high degree of proficiency in using Hive, SQL, or Python for complex data extraction, transformation, and analysis
At least 3 years of experience in leveraging credit bureau and other third party data sources to identify business growth opportunities
Extensive knowledge of card portfolio P&L and lending economics
Proficiency with data visualization using at least one of Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
Demonstrated ability to independently build and manage relationships with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to craft high quality presentations and communicate to senior-level audiences
Knowledge of one or more of the following: card acquisition performance metrics, credit risk performance metrics, digital channel performance metrics, marketing campaign measurement
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of credit bureau and other third-party information sources
Knowledge of risk management functions and data sources
High degree of proficiency with Tableau
Comfort with enterprise data and analytics platforms
Experience with statistical test and learn
Basic knowledge of machine learning applications and advanced decision science tools
Strong financial acumen and structured approach to problem solving
Degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, CS or equivalent industry experience
Qualifications
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
