The People Planning Operations Shared Solutions team designs, implements, and supports workforce strategy and management solutions for Apple Retail with a focus on analysis, reporting and systems. As a part of the greater People Planning Operations function, we strive to develop intelligent workforce solutions that empower our teams, elevate the customer experience, and drive Apple’s strategic objectives.
Description
We are seeking a Data Programs Project Manager to drive development and implementation of project and analysis solutions within Retail Operations. This role will use deep analytical insights to define, design, deliver, and inspire the adoption of People Planning Operations programs in the data and analysis space.
In this role, you will lead projects and system solutions by partnering with our Operations, Technology, Analytics, and Business Intelligence teams. Additionally, you will gather requirements with partners, leverage data sources, create analysis to enable actionable insight. You are a self-starter, positive relationship builder, analytical, driven, organized and detail oriented.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive and influence operational strategy through effective project management impacting world wide Apple retail locations and corporate support teams
Work collaboratively with Retail Leadership and relevant partners to drive consistent store adoption of strategies
Outline and build analyses while performing all aspects of analysis including data acquisition and manipulation, visualization, documentation, and presentation of results.
Partner with communication and training teams to create documentation, training and other engagement materials to support strategies and store performance.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a program/project management role or equivalent experience
3+ years working on analysis or data solutions that impact business performance
Fluency in SQL / Python for data access, manipulation, data analysis and
Ability to initiate, refine, and complete projects with minimal guidance
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of an organization, whether with a peer or senior level leadership.
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complexity to be easily internalized for a broad range of audiences
Proactive approach to problem solving
Skilled collaborator across both technical and non-technical peer groups
Experience with workforce management topics such as staffing, scheduling, payroll, absence, leave and related topics
