The Customer Growth Marketing team within GCS develops and executes integrated marketing strategies that deliver meaningful customer interactions across the lifecycle—driving satisfaction, engagement, and long-term value.

The Senior Manager, Customer Growth Direct Marketing will lead the strategy, development, and execution of revenue-driving marketing initiatives across Charge and Lending Card products, with a focus on email and direct mail channels. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to influence senior leaders while partnering cross-functionally across Marketing, Product, Risk, Analytics, Technology, and Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end strategy and execution of email and direct mail campaigns to drive customer engagement, cross-sell, and incremental revenue

  • Develop and optimize targeting, segmentation, and personalization strategies to enhance campaign performance

  • Own forecasting, performance tracking, and results analysis; adjust strategies to meet investment and revenue goals

  • Build and execute a robust test-and-learn agenda to continuously improve channel effectiveness and customer outcomes

  • Identify opportunities to evolve direct marketing capabilities through new technologies, automation, and innovation

  • Partner closely with Product, Risk, and Marketing Strategy teams to align on portfolio priorities, pricing strategies, and customer insights

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of two, providing coaching, prioritization, and execution oversight

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marketing, product, strategy, or a related field with transferable skills

  • Strong strategic thinker with a data-driven approach and a track record of delivering measurable business results

  • Demonstrated ownership mindset with a focus on accountability and outcomes

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and operate both independently and collaboratively

  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills across cross-functional and senior stakeholders

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Clear and effective communicator who can tailor messaging to diverse audiences

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in digital marketing and/or direct mail

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
