The Growth Marketing Operations Team plays a key role in enabling on-device communications and automated messaging for Apple’s media products and services. The team focuses on the timely delivery, strategy, and execution of in-app messaging sent to millions of users across multiple Apple services, including: Apple TV+, Music, Arcade, App Store, and Apple Wallet.

We're looking for a Marketing Data Analyst that will support our Growth Marketing Ops initiatives and work at the intersection of marketing, operations, and technology. The team is looking for an expert at automating targeting deliverables currently using SQL queries, for the purposes of customer segmentation, developing targeting cohorts, and lifecycle marketing. You will create meaningful business tools and dashboards that drive business decisions across the Growth Marketing organization. You will also partner closely with global cross-functional teams to help drive operational efficiency for the Growth Marketing Ops Team. Description

This role involves serving as a critical bridge between data analytics and business operations. The position requires translating business requirements into actionable audience targeting strategies while identifying patterns to develop repeatable targeting templates. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining data pipelines, creating reports and dashboards for stakeholders, and ensuring data integrity through processing, cleansing, and validation efforts. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively with business stakeholders, identify operational trends to develop technical solutions, and maintain comprehensive documentation of targeting procedures and processes. This position combines strategic thinking with hands-on data management to drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. / M.S. in relevant or quantitative discipline: Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, and/or Statistics

  • 5+ years of experience working as a decision/data scientist/analyst, data engineer, or software engineer

  • High proficiency with databases and data retrieval, including Trino SQL, Snowflake, Spark and REST APIs

  • Experience working with R, Python, SAS, or other statistical programming languages

  • Capable of producing high quality deliverables within tight deadlines

  • A passion for data and technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building operational dashboards and automated reporting, preferably in Tableau and/or Streamlit

  • Experience working with R, Python, SAS, or other statistical programming languages

  • Hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following statistical models/techniques: recommendation systems, neural networks, deep learning, optimization and simulation, churn models, logistic regression, linear regression, forecasting, A/B Testing, clustering and segmentation, or others

  • Strong communicator with both upstream and downstream stakeholders

  • Ability to adapt to changes, self-driven and multitasking in very fast paced environment are key success factors for the right candidate

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,200 and $231,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
