Summary
We are looking for an experienced/Senior OS Software Engineering Manager to lead a stellar team building the on-device, online Experimentation platform that empowers Apple engineers to deliver great user experiences. We are addressing key challenges to accelerate the adoption of ML across the OS stack, operating at the scale of 2+ billion devices. Our work is complex, challenging and highly visible. Lead a team of system-level OS engineers to envision and build the future of online experimentation.
Description
The mission for our organization is to measure, understand and proactively improve all Apple features. As part of the org, we are looking for an experienced engineering manager and technical leader to lead a team in building online experimentation systems for Appleās use internally, across all our operating systems. You will be responsible for on-device daemon & framework development.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of managing teams through organizational change and growth
Experience leading strategic technical projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong understanding of iOS, macOS fundamentals and frameworks, or similar Operating Systems
Experience with daemon and framework development
Proven ability to deliver iOS/macOS or similar OS production grade software
Highly technical, detail oriented, and willing to drive architecture and solutions
Experience with one or more of the following languages: Objective-C, Swift, C/C++, etc
Experience with shipping online Experimentation systems
Experience with independently networking, learning, and influencing cross-functional teams
B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Machine Learning
