Description
In this highly visible role you will lead a team responsible for taking products from concept to mass production for Apple’s iPad products. You’ll use your demonstrated tenacity and curiosity to solve seemingly impossible problems managing full life cycle NPI programs. Your team will be directly responsible for innovation, selection, and implementation of high volume manufacturing processes in a global supply chain.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years engineering work experience, including 5+ years as a direct people Manager.
Bachelors degree or above in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Fluent in English, Mandarin skills a bonus
Proven track record of developing scalable manufacturing processes for plastics and metals in the consumer electronics industry or equivalent
Experience in tool/fixture design - automation experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to design structured DOEs and use statistical/data analysis tools to make data driven decisions
Ability and willingness to work independently and travel (domestic + international) frequently
Proven leader, with ability to distill ambiguous situations to set clear objectives for your team and to be nimble when presented with new information
