This role is part of the Product, Design & Marketing team on Apple Services, covering areas such as media products, creator tools, cloud and commerce services, and productivity apps.

We’re searching for a UX Writer to design new and better experiences across our services through the lens of language. Specifically, this role will collaborate with the Business at Apple design team, crafting clear, user-friendly content for businesses of all sizes.

Description

The Writing arm of our Product, Design & Marketing team works across services and products, including ones that are currently available and ones that are just barely being imagined. As a UX Writer focused on Business, you’ll be responsible for many things, including:

• Writing, editing, and optimizing user-facing content for business products, including tools and related emails.
• Working on feature development, naming, user flows, product logic, and education.
• Boiling down complex systems into coherent, concise, and compelling interface copy.
• Collaborating with cross-functional partners and senior leadership to define and execute our product roadmap.
• Addressing feedback and improving performance of our content and customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience

• Have an unrelenting passion for user-focused product experiences and are curious about every step in the user’s journey, from onboarding to error states.

• Have experienced working on enterprise tools or other B2B products.

• Know how to work with wireframes and functional specs, and are familiar with design tools like Sketch.

• Develop well-informed points of view, while also remaining open to adjustments based on input from others.

• Can write from scratch, edit existing copy, and think beyond the written word with input from multiple team members.

• Are comfortable managing several projects simultaneously and able to dynamically reprioritize as needed.

• Deliver passionate and impactful presentations at all levels of an organization.

• Collaborate and build relationships across product functions, demonstrating an ability to circulate and advocate for language.

• Have an inexhaustible attention to detail.

• Enjoy contributing to and implementing style guides and shared nomenclature across Apple services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep curiosity about user behavior and an eagerness to influence product direction through language.

• An understanding of industry standards paired with a strong of Apple’s design and editorial standards.

• Experience working on 0-to-1 products

• Know and are excited about evolving the Apple ecosystem of hardware, software, and services.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
