Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Analyze data related to Apple online store transactions to defer fraud. Leads efforts to mitigate monetary losses, optimize various business processes, and improve the customer journey across online and retail stores. Support discovery of business problems. Manage program performance metrics. Perform data discovery and create proof of concepts. Perform ad-hoc and reoccurring statistical analyses. Work with data warehouse architects and software developers to generate seamless business intelligence solutions for business partners. Present results of analyses to business units and executive leadership. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Math, Statistic, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

• 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:

• Experience with big data systems and tools.

• Experience with statistical analysis in any one of these languages: Python, R, or Java.

• Experience applying analytical techniques to provide solutions to real business problems.

• Experience providing business intelligence to drive better decision-making.

• Experience eliciting business requirements and executive metrics.

• Experience building executive level cases and project plans to secure funding.

• Experience delivering analytical analysis and testimony via to clients in a professional setting.

• Constructing models from a blend of theoretical concepts to answer complex questions.
