Summary
We're building Apple Intelligence to be the most personalized intelligence on the planet. We're looking for a software manager to build and lead the UI team that will define the user experience of a personalized OS. In this role, you'll work across Apple to design and implement experiences that are intuitive, transparent, and respectful of user control and privacy. Description
In this role, you will hire, mentor, and lead a diverse team responsible for defining and building personalized Apple Intelligence experiences. Working closely with design, machine learning, privacy engineering, and cross-functional partners, you'll create UI frameworks and components that seamlessly integrate intelligence into our products. You'll code alongside your team, building prototypes, shipping features, and establishing best practices for personalized experiences that respect user agency and privacy. You'll balance technical innovation with thoughtful user experience to ensure Apple Intelligence adapts to people's needs while remaining transparent about its reasoning and suggestions.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or related field and 8 years practical experience in software engineering
Strong track record of shipping compelling UI features, plus experience with design and prototyping
At least 2 years of experience managing software engineering teams
Deep knowledge of Objective-C, C, or Swift
Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across disciplines
Preferred Qualifications
MS in Computer Science or related field
Experience building personalized features
Experience designing or implementing transparency features for AI systems
Track record of hiring and developing engineering talent
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $228,100 and $393,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
