Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Build secure software services and conduct security architecture reviews of software application stacks, including applications built on cloud and emerging technologies. Contribute to Apple Media Products (AMP) security strategy and roadmap. Define software security program and measure security adherence. Partner closely with engineering teams and other security teams to build consolidated roadmaps of software security improvements. Responsible for securing infrastructure on public cloud services. Implement strategies to support secure and compliant architectures using knowledge of network architectures, topologies and concepts. Analyze and review software development processes, system design, and system architecture. Suggest and implement improvements to build security assurance while reducing risk, technical and security debt. Implement and maintain various processes for security and development. Provide guidance to software development teams on how to implement the necessary security best practices. Assess and locate security vulnerabilities in business critical software and contribute necessary updates and security patches. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 - $250,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
5 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Software Development or Coding to build software applications that will help other teams adopt recommended authentication & authorization solutions and best practices. Be able to use OAuth, SAML, JWT and mTLS.
Experience with securing software infrastructure in public Cloud to be able to identify common pitfalls and security threats when moving applications to public (3rd party) cloud.
Using Java to make enhancement to software applications, fix bugs & defects, troubleshoot user issues to find root cause, release new versions of software applications to be consumed by users.
Using Rest APIs to integrate software applications, enable communication and facilitate exchange of data with software applications on the network.
Using SQL or NoSQL Databases to store and manage various types of data critical to the business.
Using Unix and Linux based systems and cloud technologies e.g. Docker to deploy, run and manage software applications.
Using agile practices to develop software in an iterative fashion and publish a roadmap for deliverables to stakeholders.
