Description
We are looking for an engineer to design, develop and deploy calibration and test instrumentation systems for Appleās best-in-class products. This engineer will work closely with multi-functional groups (Design, ME, EE, SW, Ops, etc.) throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase to ensure the success of current and future Apple products.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters/ Bachelors in Robotics/Mechatronics/Electrical/ Computer Engineering
5+ years of professional experience in design, development, debug, validation and working with electro-mechanical systems
Preferred Qualifications
Programming skills in one or more of the following: C/C++/Objective-C, along with scripting knowledge (Python, Lua)
Proven understanding of consumer electronics modules like transducers/ sensors (light/force/pressure/touch/motion)
Understanding of test principles, GRR, experience with test automation and optimization
Experience and strong background in control system and signal processing
Experience in high volume consumer electronics manufacturing
Experience with digital serial communication protocols (USB, UART, I2C, SPI)
Experience with data processing tools - plotting, processing and mining data
Experience or deep understanding to AI/ML modeling
Experience analyzing and processing large data sets
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to handle many priorities across multiple rigors
Domestic and international travel may be required (up to 10%)
