We are looking for a talented Accounting Associate - Level III to join our team specializing in Finance for our Cummins Inc. facility in Whitakers, NC

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

A two year University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Responsible for invoicing activities including trouble shooting issues with system generated sales invoices, creating manual invoices as needed, providing invoice copies upon request, and month end close tasks and reporting related to sales.

Responsible for indirect purchasing GRNI, GINR, and Ariba system financial data. Works closely with PO owners to assist with Ariba questions and issues and with indirect suppliers on supplier set up data or payment needs. Be a subject matter expert on the Ariba system.

Assists with direct materials AP error corrections as needed.

Requires strong Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookup formula usage.

Requires ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment while prioritizing and completing tasks.

Leadership skills to train and guide others on systems or tasks
