Job Description

NOTE: This role will be onsite at our Abbott Park, IL site (5 days in office).

Responsible for supervising warehouses supporting distribution, manufacturing or site

services such as MRO or delivery services in Lake County. Ensure the Manager’s expectations

for routine activities are met and may manage medium projects within the area. Responsible

for ensuring facilities meet AbbVie external or internal customer expectations and support.

Expected to maintain all Quality, Regulatory, Financial and Global Trade compliance

expectations for the area and must ensure full compliance with FDA, DEA, OSHA, GTC, TSA and

other regulatory expectations. Maintain efficient and compliant operations to ensure readiness to meet any internal, customer or regulatory audit. Required to maintain a safe and secure

facility ensuring employee safety and product integrity. The Supervisor is expected to meet

assigned goals and KPI’s and assure capacity, systems and technology is capable of supporting

the assigned area.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure area compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures

  • Be able to troubleshoot and execute problem solving with minimal supervision

  • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly assignments are completed per schedule

  • Ensure direct reports are appropriately trained to complete assigned tasks and complete

    formal written and verbal performance reviews as scheduled

  • Monitor daily work operations and provides direction to supervisors, group leaders, or other staff to achieve unit or departmental goals

  • Interact with internal and external customers, by meeting regularly, responding to requests

    and explaining procedures

  • Develop work schedules for department by assessing priorities, workload and available

    resources.

  • Maintain personnel records (e.g., work schedules, vacation schedules, leaves) and makes or

    directs modifications in the database to reflect actual change

  • Develops and/or identifies new work processes and the improved utilization of human and

    material resources within the assigned area or related departments, facilitates others

    participation in the continuous improvement program, and investigates and solves basic

    problems that impact work processes and personnel within a unit or department

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5 years of related work experience or equivalent

    combination of education and work experience

  • 5 or more years supervisory or relevant experience

  • Required to attain Controlled Drug Agent status gained by passing the security screening

    process and training processes depending on department

  • Must be able to read and understand Procedures written in English

Salary: $82,500 - $157,500
