Summary
Instructional Products is seeking an Engineering Project Manager with a strong background managing customer facing content and software projects. The department produces innovative instructional deliverables for all Apple hardware and software products, and is responsible for a critical portion of the customer experience. The successful candidate is a self-starter who has a track record managing and delivering dynamic projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.
Description
The EPM plays a key role in delivering innovative user-facing content, as well as in developing internal authoring and management tools. You work hands-on with instructional designers, UI designers, legal, compliance, marketing, and engineering DRIs to track project details and drive multiple concurrent projects to completion. As part of your role, you identify and communicate risks and dependencies, provide timely project status updates to stakeholders, solve problems and remove obstacles for development. Also, identify opportunities for schedule improvements and process efficiencies within and between teams.

Minimum Qualifications
At least 3 years of project management and cross-functional team management experience
Experience working with software engineers, designers, and content developers
Excellent project management experience: attention to detail, planning, project communication, issue resolution, change management, and risk management
Strong organization and facilitation skills (requirements and design brainstorming sessions, progress and status meetings)
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
Experience balancing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting aggressive timelines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing HW print bundles and familiarity with print production process a plus
Strong ability to learn new technologies in a short time
Good knowledge of iOS, macOS, and/or web platforms
