Senior Manager – Creative (Paid Media)

The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.

The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering outstanding marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle.

The Paid Media team within USCM is a ‘Center of Excellence’ focused on delivering best-in-class digital acquisition marketing that drives scaled demand for Consumer products and services. The Senior Manager, Creative Strategy & Acquisition Marketing , reporting to the Director of Paid Media, is a highly visible role, that will lead creative strategy and planning, enhance performance through superior creative, and influence across broader acquisition channels. This role involves creating and launching new creative content across various media platforms, developing a unified production process for multiple campaigns, leading a team of internal and external partners, and serving as a subject matter expert. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and visible environment and is passionate about shaping the future of acquisition media and marketing through creative and production leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set the agenda for Paid Media Creative taking a customer-centric & performance approach

  • Develop and maintain annual creative production calendar across multiple priorities

  • Support the development of strategic parameters including clear messaging architectures, frameworks and visual identities to align communications to goals

  • Operate within a flexible team structure and collaborate with cross-functional internal partners to develop and optimize messaging/creative within larger integrated workstreams

  • Coordination with various business units to ensure enterprise connectivity in creative

  • Galvanize external partners and agencies to shape and inspire best-in-class creative

  • Oversee production delivery across video, audio, display, social for multiple always-on acquisition media campaigns, driving a consistent, premium and high-quality output

  • Analyze performance to drive creative optimizations and test and learn priorities

  • Bring an external perspective, identifying new formats/tactics to drive modernization/growth

  • Champion acquisition creative best practices and identify synergies across the organization

  • Lead high-performing analyst(s)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of marketing experience

  • Subject matter expertise in Creative, Marketing and Communications development

  • Experience leading live video shoots and production

  • Strong creative instincts and judgment – proven ability to manage, inspire and galvanize agency partners to deliver breakthrough creative solutions

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Passion for innovation and willingness to challenge the status quo

  • Ability to build and strengthen relationships across all levels of management

  • Ability to think strategically and navigate through white space

  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous stakeholders against timelines and deadlines

  • Energetic, positive, self-motivated and proactive

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Experience in a highly regulated industry a plus

  • Prior people leadership experience a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Qualifications

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
