Risk Product and Data Strategy (RPDS) team is driving the roadmap for new banking risk capabilities to enable the launch of several new banking products and features in the coming years. We are looking for a leader who will drive product management, product development and delivery of various business capabilities to support risk management for banking and payment products including all stages of Onboarding, Money Movement and Debit card etc.

The role involves leading a team of product development professionals and working with Credit & Fraud Risk strategy teams and Engineering leaders to convert the product vision into a well-managed development roadmap with a set release cycle. This is a Risk Strategy & technology facing leadership role defining software product vision, ensuring flexible and global system/capability design, grooming features and user stories, prioritizing work for scrum teams using program increments.

The successful individual ensures that the banking risk business capabilities meet the evolving needs of the enterprise through continuous innovation, evolution, and deployment. This role requires strong organizational, technical, creative problem-solving and stakeholder leadership skills and should have the ability to influence across multiple levels of leadership. This person must work well in a dynamic, sophisticated environment and under deadline pressures and be able to coordinate the efforts of a large agile team (stakeholders, designers, developers and analytics) to deploy the new platform across markets and products. We are looking for someone who is deeply inquisitive, enjoys creative problem solving, is detail-oriented, and has an entrepreneurial background to focus on driving business results and product performance outcome.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business strategy and other stakeholders to create product vision and roadmap.

  • Work collaboratively with business and technology partners to identify and deliver credit and fraud risk capabilities for Banking Products.

  • Lead a team of product development professionals for product management, product ownership and product delivery.

  • Own and manage the product backlog which includes creating and reviewing Initiatives, Capabilities, Features and User Stories with Acceptance Criteria.

  • Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution via scrum teams.

  • Lead the product functional design and partner with teams for design process based on an intimate knowledge of the customer and technology.

  • Enable data and analytics-driven decision making to evolve products and usage.

  • Brainstorm and negotiate effectively with various stakeholders to continuously define feature priority, and then prioritize engineering work and balancing the requirements of customers and stakeholders.

  • Define and execute the deployment plan, working to ensure that partners have what they need to be successful

  • Ensure that best in class agile software development processes are in place

Qualifications

Asuccessful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years in agile product development and delivery

  • 2+ years of product management experience in digital banking or credit/fraud risk management

  • A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record of driving digital innovation and business metrics with a customer-first mindset.

  • An established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, Scaled Agile Framework and principles.

  • Enthusiasm and passion for building great products and services and an ability to articulate product vision and business functionality.

  • Understanding of the evolving compliance and regulatory requirements and environment and how to incorporate technology, infrastructure and security requirements into the product design.

  • Ability to communicate in a timely and straightforward manner, probe for information, clarify assumptions and confirm agreed upon actions, while keeping everyone involved informed of progress and issues.

  • Business leadership with business and technical skills to work with senior level partners and influence different stakeholders without direct authority.

  • High degree of organization, individual initiative, personal accountability and ability to drive day to day deliverables for the team.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a highly analytical approach.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/technology/engineering/business management or related field is mandatory.

  • Master’s Degree (or comparable experience) in management, computer science, engineering or a related discipline is ideal.
