Apple’s Accessibility Policy & Initiatives team drives culture supporting the needs of people with disabilities across a wide range of deliverables. Apple is looking for an experienced accessibility Senior Manager to support the development and execution of accessibility-related programs, projects, and initiatives. This role would help to advance strategic partnerships and external engagement around Apple’s accessibility work. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, project management skills, and the ability to think creatively, strategically, and critically to identify opportunities that help elevate Apple Accessibility to internal and external audiences. You will also manage, support, and execute various overlapping projects through the following: strategy development, material development (e.g. briefings, speeches, talking points, etc), executive visibility and principal advance responsibilities, campaigns, cross-functional initiatives, and special projects.

Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience in communications, public affairs, public relations, or related area
Proven track record of development of communication strategies that support diverse audience bases
Broad understanding of the disability landscape and policy trends, including the needs of communities and advocacy groups
Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding of accessibility strategy from a government, non-profit or corporate perspective; tech industry experience highly preferred
Excellent written, oral, and editing skills with ability to craft a clear and concise narrative
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills with the ability to support the development of multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and foster productive partnerships
Long-term strategy insight, including an ability to assess external opportunities for potential value
Effective collaborator capable of driving consensus across teams and geographies
Ability to quickly analyze information and pivot as necessary
Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment under short timelines
Self-starter who can demonstrate creative and critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel 10-20% as needed
