Summary

Do you thrive on crafting innovative solutions to complex challenges? Are you passionate about creating seamless, engaging experiences for a global audience? At Apple, we believe in the power of connection and the importance of delivering exceptional events, both in person and online. We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to champion the strategy and execution for our event management and streaming platform.

Apple’s Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organization manages vital business and technical infrastructure at Apple, from online orders to the customer experience in our retail stores, and even our global network capacity.

The Events, Streaming, and Broadcast team within IS&T is dedicated to building a cohesive suite of event solutions that empower our global team to share ideas and build community in a secure, and uniquely Apple, way. Join us!

Description

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, roadmap, and feature set for a platform that powers a wide range of events, from small internal meetings to large-scale global conferences and product launches. You will drive capability-based thinking across our events-to-broadcast ecosystem, working closely with engineering, design, product marketing, and operations teams to deliver innovative and impactful solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business and our audience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Masters Degree in an engineering or technical field.

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a focus on event management, streaming, or related technologies.

  • 2+ years launching and scaling complex software platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the event lifecycle, including planning, registration, execution, and post-event analysis.

  • Strong technical background and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders and partners.

  • Strong strategic thinking skills – able to synthesize diverse inputs and align strategy to the "big picture."

  • Excellent analytical skills – the ability to use data and metrics to validate assumptions and evaluate outcomes.

  • Experience leading without authority – the ability to motivate and guide people in a single direction without direct reporting relationships.

  • Experience with live streaming platforms and technologies (e.g., WebRTC, HLS, RTMP).

  • Experience with event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite).

  • Background working with mission-critical systems that support high-visibility external events.

  • Experience in organizations balancing user-facing and engineering-heavy product initiatives.
