Worldwide Product & Launch Readiness manages complex new product introductions and sustaining product initiatives across Apple Operations, Sales, Product Marketing and Engineering teams, focused on the go-to-market operational execution plan. As a manager on the team, you will lead a team that functions as the orchestrator, the connector, the educator, and the negotiator across extended project teams to ensure everyone is working in concert to drive a launch that optimizes Apple’s capabilities and enables an exceptional customer experience.
Description
-Partner with WW Product Marketing, Supply Demand Management, Logistics, Retail Fulfillment Operations, Product Operations, Regional Ops teams and other cross functional organizations to craft the NPI strategy for all routes to market and execute flawlessly.
-Analyze supply chain data to understand the dependencies, gates, and milestones; Evaluates supply chain risks and develops contingency plans to mitigate consumer impact, including ad-hoc problem solving during unprecedented events.
-Prepare cross-functional operational teams on new product launch plans. Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to cross-functional and executive teams.
-Assess regulatory impacts on existing products and define a strategy to intercept the regulation and ensure compliance.
-Influence launch strategy decisions through data analysis, collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach.
-Partner with E-Commerce and IT teams in setup and testing Online store assortments and fulfillment messaging to ensure exceptional customer experience.
-Drive post-mortem analysis for each launch to identify RCA, opportunities for continuous process, & system improvement. Documents and implements new processes effectively
-Develop large scale, multi-year, multi-$M capital project roadmaps that will improve Apple’s long-term capabilities and scale business processes.
As a manager in Worldwide Readiness, you will lead a high impact team that operates with a relentless focus on excellence and maniacal attention to detail, fosters a culture of growth, belonging and development, attracts high caliber talent, and drives the business in alignment with Apple’s goals to maximize sell through, deliver exceptional customer experience and build systems and tools capabilities for the future.
Minimum Qualifications
7 years experience in Operations
Must be able to work independently as well lead cross-functional teams domestically and globally.
Highly effective communication skills; ability to present to a wide range of stakeholders across different teams and levels of the organization
Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence in a matrix organization
In-depth experience in program and/or project management
Maniacal attention to details
Ability to structure work and actions from ambiguous business challenges
Preferred Qualifications
Proven Track record of success leading complex global projects in New Product Introductions, Supply Demand Planning, Order Management, or Logistics
Ability to synthesize varying inputs across different disciplines into a cohesive strategy which accounts for impacts to all variables
Experience attracting, developing, and retaining talented individuals
Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable driving issue resolution in a fast-paced environment
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,700 and $292,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
