Help Apple build the next generation of the world’s most sophisticated operating systems. We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to manage software integration across all of Apple’s platforms. We are responsible for integrating changes for key frameworks such as Swift Standard Libraries, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Xcode Previews. You’ll be working directly with some of the most hardworking software engineers responsible for the building blocks of the user experience across all of our platforms. Description
An Integration Engineer on the Swift Platform Experience Team is responsible for integrating software across Apple’ operating systems. We facilitate the movement of source code through the development lifecycle for current and upcoming releases. We are responsible for ensuring build quality and working with software engineers, QA, and project managers across many teams. You’ll join a growing team of integrators as part of a larger quality engineering organization where you’ll find an encouraging and growth-focused culture.
You’ll have an opportunity to focus and specialize on a specific framework while contributing to a rich set of processes, automation, and tools used to improve workflows across the team. You will be encouraged to write and speak about the results of your work with multiple audiences.
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent knowledge of source code management concepts and systems (Git)
Familiar with continuous integration and related systems (Xcode Cloud, Jenkins etc.)
Experience with Swift and/or Objective-C
Experience with scripting languages (Ruby, Python, Bash)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a software engineering field, or equivalent experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to interact closely with development teams, management, project management, and other organizations at Apple.
You have a passion for quality with great attention to detail and are upbeat and adaptable with a results-oriented attitude.
Experience with process design and/or engineering project management a plus.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,900 and $234,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
