Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Developing and testing a suite of graphically intense and highly interactive applications. Developing test plans, test cases, assessing risk, and filing appropriate defects. Triaging problems, prioritizing accordingly, and proposing a resolution utilizing software testing methodologies and practices. Creating test plans, bug reporting, and triaging, identifying automation opportunities, and supporting design reviews. Identifying holes in coverage, actively sync with multi-functional teams to reduce duplication, foster better testing, and resist regression. Working with engineering teams to deeply understand their technology and developing testing plans around it. Contributing to efforts to standardize and optimize test performance. Debugging and reporting issues encountered during testing. Helping triage the team’s daily automation results. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,931 - $248,700/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • 3 years of the experience with each of the following skills is required:

  • Understanding of AR/VR dependent technologies, such as camera systems, SLAM, 3DOF/6DOF control, object recognition and tracking, and 3D modelling & reconstruction.

  • Experience with the development lifecycle of mobile, desktop, or server-side software applications from beta phases through to production.

  • Designing and executing functional as well as non-functional software testing methodologies, such as unit, integration, performance, and stress tests.

  • Usage of build and integration CI/CD systems, such as Jenkins, Travis, or CircleCI.

  • Usage of version control systems, such as Git, Perforce, or Subversion.

  • Translating design requirements into functional testing requirements and concrete quality strategies.

  • Usage of UNIX shell environments and command line tools leveraging Bash, Zsh, or similar.

  • Programming proficiency in writing client-side software applications with at least one of Python, Swift, or Objective-C.
