The WPC Engineering Operations team is responsible for ensuring the organization operates and executes effectively. We take on some of the most complex organizational, business, and technological challenges, partnering with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that drive meaningful change.

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Program Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations of a global Engineering Rotation Program within our Employee Development team. You will design and implement rotational experiences that align with engineering priorities and long-term hiring strategies while providing participants with exposure to diverse teams, skills, and technologies.

Description

Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, strong program management skills, and the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments. You should be comfortable driving initiatives independently, communicating across all levels of the organization, and leveraging data to inform decision-making and optimize outcomes.

You will help lead efforts spanning recruitment, onboarding, participant mentorship, and manager engagement to ensure a seamless and high-impact experience that supports early-career engineers in building strong technical foundations at Apple.

  • Partner closely with engineering leaders and business stakeholders to align rotation placements with organizational needs and participant skill development

  • Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to gather business requirements and define objectives, ensuring alignment from planning to execution

  • Develop compelling, logically structured, and visually impressive presentations that will be shared at all levels of the organization

  • Manage end-to-end rollout of new processes within the program using clear change management & communication plans

  • Deliver program metrics for leadership through the creation of ad hoc reports or dashboards, and surface insights that can help to refine our processes or strategy

  • Plan and execute high-impact training sessions, networking events, and programmatic initiatives to enhance the participant experience

  • Manage hiring process in partnership with recruiting to attract top engineering talent

  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices to scale the program effectively

  • Coach and mentor early-career talent, fostering professional growth and engagement through structured development programs

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years in program management, project management, university recruiting, or HR/Operations

  • Proven ability to manage large-scale development programs within a global organization

  • Can turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into clear impactful plans

  • Excellent communicator - can influence a wide range of partners, facilitate training to large groups, and is comfortable presenting to senior leaders

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and develop compelling, data-driven presentations

  • Experience using data and insights to refine program strategy and improve outcomes

  • Passion for coaching and mentoring early-career talent, creating a supportive environment that drives learning and career progression

  • Experience with hiring forecasts, headcount planning, and funding processes

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
