As a Business Analyst focused on our AS400 ERP system, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your expertise will drive process improvements, enhance system functionality, and contribute to the success of our organization. Here are the key responsibilities and requirements for this role:

Responsibilities:

• Review incoming support requests and independently work towards appropriate and timely resolutions.

• Capture detailed requirements for blueprinting, solution design, implementation, and functional testing within our ERP landscape.

• Work to ensure solutions are designed with security in mind.

• Collaborate with business, Application Development, EDI, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure timely and effective process implementation aligned with corporate initiatives.

• Ensure system changes are documented and signed off by business owners.

• Develop ERP knowledge through cross-training.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of IBM AS400/iSeries environments.

• Demonstrate understanding of B2B business processes.

• Investigate and optimize inter-relationships between business processes, procedures, systems, interfaces, and organizational structures.

• Provide insights based on data analysis to drive informed decision-making.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or at least 5+ years of work experience interfacing between business teams and IT.

• Strong analytical skills for capturing and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

• Previous work experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Customer/Vendor Relationship Manager.

• Exposure to distribution and logistics related business processes.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to identify and resolve system-related problems.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.

• Knowledge of system development methodologies.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification
