The worldwide Apple Retail Engagement & Marketing (REM) team defines, makes and delivers programs, campaigns, initiatives and experiences that help Apple Retail’s customers and teams discover, be inspired by, learn about and go further with Apple’s products and services, and does so in a manner that is true to our values.
The AMR Customer Engagement team is dedicated to developing and delivering on an experience strategy designed to inspire customers through in-store experiences. They will leverage their expertise in leading events design and production to bring the creative power of Apple products to life across stores nationwide.
Description
The AMR Customer Engagement Lead will manage, lead, and grow the team responsible for creating meaningful programs for our customers aligned to our values and business priorities. They will lead Heads of Programming in our priority markets, and will be responsible for developing and delivering on a pan-geo customer experience roadmap across key in-store and digital formats that reach more customers through only-at-Apple experiences. They will do this by leading partnerships with Worldwide and AMR leads across Retail and the organization including WW Today at Apple Programming, Apple Store Online, Field Leadership, Store Operations, Services, Public Relations, Product Marketing, and more. This role will report into the Customer and Commercial Engagement leader in AMR.
?Responsibilities:
Develop and lead programming strategy and implementation plans across the geo for all customer engagement formats
Lead geo-wide planning and prioritization, identifying business priorities and programming pillars that support the overall customer engagement and integrated marketing goals
Partner with Store Operations and Apple Retail field leadership to align on plans and secure support for cross-market initiatives. Lead communication with all relevant cross-functional partners.
Cultivate, manage, and maintain relationships with external partners to bring new audiences to Apple. (e.g. community organizations, cultural institutions, entertainment, art, developers and design industry professionals)
Maintain intimate understanding of the Apple brand and services model as well as the key role that products, Retail programs and campaigns play in the support of creating owners and driving brand affinity
Responsible for geo-wide reporting, including programming and marketing performance, as well as executive reporting, to drive internal awareness of our work.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience developing programming and events.
5+ years of experience leading and developing a team highly skilled team of individual contributors.
Experience identifying market-wide trends across culture, education or tech.
Strategic development of content experiences and programs that build and engage audiences, deliver against business and marketing objectives, and deliver demonstrable value.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to synthesize problem statements, opportunities, and strategic approaches in clear, convincing, compelling briefs that tell a story to influence leadership and partners across the organization.
Deep understanding of digital content platforms (e-commerce and social commerce).
Ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams include and are not limited to: Programming, Production, Creative, Product Marketing, Public Relations, Retail Operations, Internal Communications, Training, Merchandising, Finance, Online Store, Store Strategies, Publishing, Procurement, and Marcom.
Experience working with extraordinary brands, innovation, large cross functional teams and an understanding of the logistics for events of all sizes.
Flexible project management style with the ability to quickly adapt and effect change. Ability to successfully navigate and execute multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
Ability to measure, analyze and report programming and marketing performance. Deliver reporting to multiple audiences including executive level.
Strong presentation skills including experience presenting to large audiences.
Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication and networking skills.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $142,200 and $266,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
