Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Forecasting demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell through. Generating weekly and quarterly supply plans that meet Apple’s financial objectives and evaluating risks. Planning and implementing contingency plans to mitigate. Analyzing product sales on a daily basis. Identifying opportunities and drive partner groups to appropriate action. Coordinating closely with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements. Coordinating with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch quantities of new product introductions and to ensure smooth product transitions. Partnering with the global procurement teams to allocate constrained components, ensuring raw material inventory targets are met, and minimizing material obsolescence during product transition. Presenting product updates and recommending actions to Operations executive management team on a weekly basis. Identifying improvement opportunities in the product planning process, marshal resources, and driving projects to completion. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,300 - $244,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree or Foreign Equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, International Business, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience and/or education must include:
Performing advanced quantitative modeling utilizing Excel for calculating business decisions
Analyzing large data sets to actualize past operations, assess results, and plan for future requirements
Utilizing advanced modeling and simulation skills in supply chain to optimize processes, forecast demand, optimize supply, plan logistics and freight to improve overall efficiency.
Utilizing systems and tools, and the algorithms behind them required to manage complex supply chain problems
Performing scenario analysis and risk management, analyzing expected outcomes of different business decisions and recommending actions
Quantifying financial implications of business decisions, such as those involving capital expenditures or inventory
Coordinating with multiple stakeholders and cross functional partners to gather data, review results of analysis and collaborate on decision making.
Presenting complex analyses and solutions to executive leaders to drive business decisions.
Managing projects or devising new processes to improve business planning operations
