Membership Portfolio Services, within our US Consumer Services Business, is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. We are developing unique and differentiated ways to strengthen the Membership Model across Amex Offers, Advertising, Dining and Marketing Technology.
The Enterprise Comms & MarTech Experiences (ECMX) team is a global organization that sits within Membership Portfolio Services (MPS). It is American Express’ marketing services center of excellence with the charter of powering high quality, efficient, user-centric digital marketing experiences that accelerate business growth through optimized enterprise MarTech & MarOps solutions.
As a Senior Digital Product Manager for the Email and Loyalty Enablement team, you will play a vital role in forging the next generation of the American Express Marketing Technology ecosystem. Tasked with improving speed to market, investment agility and creating best in class experiences, this exciting role requires a motivated individual with vision and passion, coupled with attention to detail, to define and unlock these new capabilities to accelerate marketing enablement.
You are passionate about creating exemplary Martech experiences that are configurable, integrated and high-quality by the application of your deep product mastery and experience. You demonstrate:
Product Mastery – Visionary, customer and value centric storytelling, in-depth knowledge and robust application of Agile processes and principles to operate in a global LPM structure for annual, PI and sprint planning cycles. You take a leading role in the definition of the product vision, strategy, roadmap, growth opportunities, iteration planning and product release plans, creating clear sprint/increment goals and testing plans. You apply precision to backlog refinement, sprint planning, ceremonies, user story creation through to acceptance, sprint demos, testing, PIV, customer outcome driven prioritization, iterative continuous improvement and collaborative roadmap creation.
Technical fluency – ability to articulate complex solutions and technical capabilities to communicate to colleagues across disciplines. Direct experience working with B2B & B2C marketing email, Adobe Experience Platform and AJO, and/or other ESPs a plus.
Customer Experience – UX Design thinking is inherent in your everyday, user sentiment and journey measurement drives your prioritization. You have a keen understanding of the customer experience, researching and analyzing user experience data and analytics to identify and quantify opportunity areas. You power through technical and product issues to find resolution because you are unwilling to make your problems your users’ problems.
Highly organized - Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills and a proven ability to manage cross-functional, large/complex initiatives. You are great at research and documenting your learnings, detailing decisions and solutions for alignment and strategic input, you thrive dealing with fast paced and changing needs in a matrixed environment.
Partnership - Able to build positive relationships, and influence decisions with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders (including Marketing, Technology, Design, Operations, Analytics, 3rd party vendors, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance and other partners). You set a high bar and empower yourself and others to achieve great results; constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery while balancing the need for great collaboration and building strong relationships
Data and Insights – Ability to provide insight and accurate judgment in addressing and resolving complex business issues and making prioritization decisions. You hold personal accountability for ensuring data is accurately stored, high quality, auditable and well governed. You define customer needs, metrics, controls & monitoring, key risk indicators and key performance indicators that are clear and concise to track the success of the features launched, feeding back into the next prioritization cycle.
Control and Compliance – ability to apply a keen focus on monitoring and observability, prioritizing preventative controls, and meeting control and compliance needs to deliver robust and compliant communication channels. You take ownership of storing high quality, auditable data.
Growth mindset – you are a problem-solving change agent. You communicate clearly and constructively, make decisions effectively with demonstrable backing and co-create with colleagues a coaching and development culture. You actively participate in team and business unit learning and development activities, communities of practice and company networks.
Finger on the pulse – Keep up to date with industry advances, competitor solutions, Agile/SAFe methodologies and new trends within Martech to bring fresh ideas and capability updates to your remit.
Qualifications
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
