How will you make an impact in this role?
The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.
The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle. The US Customer Growth Marketing team supports this vision by optimizing marketing of additional products and card features with the goal of deepening customer engagement and accelerating revenue growth. Within US Customer Marketing, the Prospect, Partner, and Customer Growth (PPCG) is made up of hard-working and dedicated marketers who rally to acquire customers & enhance their experience as a platform for growth - deepening revenue and share in ways difficult for others in the marketplace to replicate.
The Sr. Analyst, Rewards Checking Loyalty Marketing will join a Deposits Marketing team focused on scaling Amex Banking products and expanding relationships with our customers beyond card. This role will specifically be responsible for leading loyalty marketing for our Checking product to drive positive early tenure behaviors, ongoing product engagement, and awareness usage of new features. This Senior Analyst will play a central role in the strategic development of marketing campaigns in partnership with teams across Marketing, Product, Compliance, and Analytics teams to bring these strategies to life. This role is a unique opportunity to own end-to-end marketing channel strategy for a rapidly growing product.
The role requires a detail-oriented, customer-centric marketer who is motivated by working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. This marketer should be able to pair creative thinking with customer insights to create effective campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Plan Development - Partner with multiple teams across the enterprise, including product, marketing, legal, compliance and risk, as well as external creative agencies to develop innovative onboarding and engagement marketing campaigns with clear test & learn strategy.
Campaign Execution Oversight - Partner with marketing execution team in addition to operations and data science to design segmentation and deploy on-time, compliant campaigns across email and digital channels – leading testing, proofing, and launches
Cross-Team Collaboration - Lead internal communications to enable greater speed and agility and improve marketer and broader working team experience.
Marketing Performance Measurement - Lead the analysis, measurement and reporting out of campaign, channel, and business performance vs. forecast. Proactively identify key campaign level and external trends which can inform future campaigns.
Minimum Qualifications
Passionate, data-driven marketer with ability to understand and translate data into action items that will drive performance to future marketing campaigns.
Strong marketing know-how. Previous experience implementing marketing plans across channels in a fast-paced and results-driven team.
Natural teammate with strong and effective communication skills who can work collaboratively on diverse cross-functional teams.
Strong planning and organization with ability to lead highly interdependent, complex initiatives and keep various workstreams on track.
Creative problem solver with a bias for action and proven ability to adapt when priorities change.
Comfortable in white space and creates structure from unknown
Bachelors Degree Preferred

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
