As a Senior Regional Manager, you are a leader, inspirational coach, and visionary. You empower your team of leaders to develop successful sales teams through coaching, developing, and role-modeling. You help your leaders build impactful relationships across multiple partner resellers while cultivating your own relationships with partner senior leadership. Adaptable and flexible by nature, you’re a clear and direct communicator and dedicated to making an impact.
Through your leadership and influence, you will inspire and motivate your team and partners to exceed their goals. You will review and communicate business results and promotions daily with your team of leaders and partners to grow share. You will focus on achieving sales results — discovering new opportunities to grow the Apple business, enhance business partner relationships, and enrich customers’ lives through Apple products.
This position will cover our South division and requires up to 75% travel.
Description
In this role, you will:
- Lead and develop a diverse team of leaders responsible for driving Apple’s business and achieving peak performance in revenue and objectives across an assigned territory.
- Ensure that business operations run seamlessly and the Apple customer experience is exceptionally delivered through your committed leadership and role modeling.
- Provide encouragement and support to team members, including communicating individual and team goals, identifying areas for mentoring and guidance, and implementing development programs for the team to build vital skills and knowledge to achieve performance targets.
- Hold your team accountable for ensuring all Apple fixtures, product exposures and merchandising elements in a territory are up to date and maintained according to Apple's standards and planograms; This includes inspecting and driving effective merchandising roll-out and compliance through oversight, coaching, surveys, and quality audits.
- Develop impactful relationships with country partners and senior leadership to develop joint sales, business, and marketing plans to grow Apple products and our range of accessories.
- Report performance against targets based on competitive market trends and provide meaningful insights, recommendations, and feedback.
- Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise to define broad, holistic strategies and build divisional plans using commercial analysis.
- Use your broad business knowledge, credibility, and influence to anticipate needs, propose solutions, and drive education, evolution, and organizational change.
- Implement Apple’s channel programs across your division and work with your team and leadership in our channel reseller partners to optimize the opportunity within points of sale.
- Collaborate with our Corporate Consumer teams to optimize each partnership to deliver market growth objectives.
- Understand the details of your division’s performance and financials to report on demand generation activities and broader Apple offers and initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 15+ years of related experience
5-8 years of experience managing direct reports, coaching employees, or leading others
Ability to build, lead, and develop inclusive teams and attract and retain talent through performance management, coaching, guidance, and support
Outstanding collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills
Ability to communicate effectively, engage actively, and build strong relationships internally and externally by instilling trust and integrity
Ability to motivate and inspire others, articulate vision and purpose, and advocate for Apple’s values
Passion for continuous improvement with the curiosity to uncover gaps, resilience to manage ambiguity, and drive to optimize processes and create solutions
Ability to set the pace for teams by energizing a sense of community, collaboration, urgency, quality, priority and focus
Deep business acumen, strategic planning, and decision making skills, and forward-thinking mindset to analyze the market beyond the short term, foresee future possibilities, and translate data to plans, strategies, and action
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Empathy and tenacity to support the needs of a diverse team, navigate ambiguity, and embrace change
Understanding of the channel reseller market, consumer and carrier technology industry, and/or partner landscape is desirable
Experience managing a remote/geographically dispersed team is a plus
Background driving performance across a large region, country, or functional area is highly preferred
