Summary

Hundreds of millions of customers interact with the Apple Mail app every day. The Mail Composition & Content team is hiring a senior software engineer to deliver rich new Mail features in a world where intelligence is increasingly part of every interaction, across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS.

Description

The Mail Composition & Content team is responsible for two of the most critical flows in the Mail app: reading and writing emails. This includes the way emails are formatted, created, rendered, as well as Apple Intelligence integrations such as Writing Tools. This is your chance to build features that will be used by our customers almost every time they pick up an Apple Device. You'll own features from the first planning conversations through delivery to customers, and collaborate directly with AIML, WebKit, UI Frameworks, and Design.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant industry experience

• Strong object-oriented programming skills in Swift or Objective-C.

• Experience working with Apple SDKs and frameworks.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

• Self-directed and independent problem-solver.

• Enthusiastic about user experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JavaScript and/or WebKit
