Summary
The AirPlay, Conferencing, and Screen organization creates the technology that powers real-time audio and video communications features such as FaceTime, SideCar, Continuity Camera, Airplay Mirroring, Wifi-Calling, VoLTE, and more. The ACS Screening and Tools team is looking for a hard-working, and detail-oriented software engineer to help improve Apple's already high quality operating systems by coordinating bug report investigations and developing automation with other hard-working software engineers.
Description
We are looking for a software engineer with a strong background in investigating technical problems. You will triage incoming bugs, analyze logs, and determine priorities while spotting emerging issues from bug reports filed by Apple employees and external developers. You will be encouraged to design and implement processes and automation that improve the efficiency of those bug report investigations. You will also be building and maintaining internal documentation for consistency, clarity, and training. You will become an intregral part of Apple's development process. You will participate in engineering design discussions and be part of feature planning. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must because of the close interaction with engineering teams throughout Apple.
Minimum Qualifications
Profesional experience troubleshooting technical problems
Proven programming skill in Python or other language
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear and concise verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing automation Experience in Swift, Objective-C, or C/C++ Understanding of ML/AI concepts
