Description
This Display EPM will work closely with Display Engineering teams who are focused on the development of the key technologies that enable Apple’s next generation displays. If it’s you, then... You are someone capable of quickly gaining understanding of program and cross functional needs and keeping up with their dynamic nature. You will partner with a team of engineers to set strategy for technology development and lead its implementation in support of new and exciting display products: you can’t tell anyone, but they’re so cool! You will be forging the path to bring the latest technology into the hands of our customers. Major responsibilities: Define technology convergence plans and schedules. Drive failure analysis and resolution of technical issues. Manage partnership with vendors. Ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication. Prepare and deliver concise and succinct technical updates. Understand and communicate complex, technical/engineering issues. Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues quickly and efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Engineering/Materials Science/Physics/Chemistry degree or equivalent.
3 years of experience in display, semiconductor, optical device, materials, and relevant fields.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong technical background (engineering or science)
Experience as a technical project lead, lead engineer, responsible for delivering a product or product component
Program/project management experience in product development or equivalent
Extensive experience with large cross functional teams
Experience in product development: concept & feasibility, development and launch
Experience working with teams of diverse technical backgrounds and quickly learning from them
Ability to apply analytical thinking to product development needs
Ability to connect, network and influence others within a large product organization
MS or PhD Engineering/Materials Science/Physics/Chemistry degree or equivalent.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
