Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and develop efficient networks for computer vision problems such as multi-object tracking, scene understanding, and activity recognition algorithm. Implement efficient tensor operations and deep neural networks training algorithms. Utilize Python and C++ programming languages to implement and optimize computer vision algorithms for Apple devices. Prepare presentations, papers, and talks to explain the inventions. Use deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, or Keras. Use machine learning and computer vision libraries such as Numpy, Matplotlib, OpenCV, and Pandas. Implement quality assurance and testing programs for machine learning and computer vision algorithms. Build automated pipelines for training and testing machine learning and computer vision algorithms. Design and implement data collection and annotation pipelines and lead the acquisition process in collaboration with cross-functional quality assurance engineers. Conduct research on novel few-shot and zero-shot deep learning approaches in order to improve the training time and user experience of custom machine learning trainings on Apple hardware. Implement and optimize new machine learning training algorithms in customer facing software tools on Apple hardware. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field.

  • Experience and/or education must include:

  • Developing 3D data annotation tools using advanced 3D computer vision principles.

  • Building graphical user interfaces with Three.js (a wrapper around WebGL), leveraging computer graphics and rendering principles.

  • Building pipelines for generating synthetic data for 3D computer vision tasks utilizing computer graphics and rendering.

  • Using 3D geometry, linear algebra and computer vision algorithms.

  • Implementing machine learning and deep learning algorithms in Python with PyTorch and Numpy.

  • Creating applications using Swift.

  • Using C++ in large-scale codebases.

  • Developing regression testing, and automating pipelines.

  • Applying generative AI technique to computer vision projects.
