Summary
We are looking for a detail orientated, organized, and self motivated individual to help support our engineering teams in Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems (WTE) do their best work. This role will offer the opportunity to help support some of the most exciting and transformational technologies at Apple, from Car Play and Home to cutting edge Cellular and Bluetooth technologies, you will have the opportunity to assist and impact these programs in this role.
Description
As a Purchasing & Inventory Lab Specialist, you will act as the primary liaison between our team and engineers for purchasing the equipment that they need via credit card. You will help to facilitate the receipt of inventory as it arrives in our main Santa Clara distribution lab, ensure that it is recorded in all necessary tracking tools, and facilitate its delivery to the end user. You will also be the key DRI for fulfilling requests for the distribution of pre-stocked equipment to engineering labs throughout the Santa Clara region; as well as helping to ensure that the main lab as well as satellite labs are stocked in order to facilitate these requests.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years experience in purchasing in a corporate environment.
Two years experience Tracking and receiving inventory.
Can lift maximum of 50lbs.
This role requires onsite presence in the office up to five days a week.
Proficiency in excel/numbers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Wrike.
Experience with Mac OS collaboration tools/apps.
Experience using Enfold or similar enterprise inventory tracking software.
Comfortable completing daily tasks without direct supervision.
