Apple’s AIML Data Operations group is looking for an Internal Communications Program Manager to partner with internal teams to drive awareness and engagement through our global data operations teams and critical organizational initiatives. We’re looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, and creative communications program manager who can help us connect our people to our purpose! In this role, you’ll bring your talents to develop and implement the communications and events that bring our ideas, products and values to life, connect with teams across geographies and functions, and elevate the employee experience. This role requires strong relationship management, copywriting expertise, keen attention to detail, ability to work through ambiguity, program management, and multi-functional coordination. We are looking for a creative problem solver who can strategize, complete and implement in an ever-changing environment, and always put the employee experience at the center of everything they do. This teammate will use collaboration and partnership to impact teams across our 8 global sites.

Description

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our AIML Data Operations communications function, constantly exploring new ways to engage Apple employees in a rapidly growing area of our business. You’ll help us find and tell the stories that matter and make a difference for Apple employees. You’ll decide what format we use to tell these stories, how we amplify them across our channels, and what new channels and methods we should explore. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, superb writing and copyediting skills, experience creating and implementing content strategies that build and engage audiences, and knows how to keep their finger on the pulse of the organization to find great storytelling opportunities. You should be comfortable in creating systems and frameworks that improve efficiency and have the ability to clearly communicate, track and guide stakeholders to excellent outcomes. You should have a passion for strengthening culture and efficiency, and building community within a global, diverse workforce. Creativity and the ability to generate ideas for new content and ways to engage our teams are imperative, as is the ability to produce high-quality and high-impact work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of successfully developing and driving communications and engagement plans, with a focus on internal large all-employee meetings, and in creating content for a variety of topics across a range of channels and platforms.

  • Experience working with or in a disruptive tech environment, or in an events communications agency.

  • Experience working in both program and project management, with exceptional skills in leading complex, cross-functional communications projects for global audiences.

  • You should have strong communication and collaboration skills, and be an effective communicator both written and verbally.

  • Relentless curiosity and a passion for using storytelling to create experiences that drive engagement and participation.

  • Strategic thinker—someone who can connect the dots, and knows the difference between a story and what is a proof point to a much larger story.

  • Strong ability to drive action through collaboration, proactivity, and flexibility. Able to rally people and influence all levels to get things done.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to self-motivate and prioritize projects to meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment that leans towards variety and change.

  • Passion for building a positive organizational culture around a unified mission, with a cultural awareness that identifies new concepts and emerging trends to enhance community within a global workforce.

  • Experience in working with senior leadership and crafting presentations and communication collateral that inspires, informs and engages.

  • Proficient in Keynote, Numbers, Pages; skilled in Slack, Quip; and experience using project management tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, editorial writing, communications, events, PR, marketing, or related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with site-specific dynamics, including cultural, linguistic, and operational nuances.

  • Background in Operations, AIML, or technology-driven industries.
